Getting Ready for the Shout: Day 5

How's the march coming for you?  Are you feeling the crunch of the journey?   I hope you are looking forward to Shout Day? Be honest, Are there still some issues you are walking out?  Remember as we prepare our hearts for Shout Day.....The Shout often comes before the manifestation.  Tomorrow we will examine the Shout in the Bible.  Today I'd like to examine a few other things I almost forgot.

Before the March
Chapter five of Joshua explains what happened before the Jerico march began.  The children of Isreal had not circumcised the males that were born in the desert.  Circumcision was an outward sign of the covenant of God with the nation and their love and commitment toward him.  The Bible talks about a circumcision of the heart for believers being a sign of our love for God.  Israel recommitted themselves to God wholly and completely.  The result of this was that God declared he was from that day forward removing the reproach of Egypt from them.  Soon after this Isreal celebrated Passover on the plains of Jericho just as recently we celebrated Resurrection Day recently.  Passover and Ressurection speak of the blood of the Lamb Jesus our Savior who frees us from bondage and slavery.  Take a minute today to commit wholly and completely your life to God and as you march around your Jerico believe for God to remove the old things that held you back...the reproach of Egypt.

Old things rollaway
Isreal needed to allow the reproach and old mindset of slavery fall from their mindset and in the same way we need to remember that God desires to remove that reproach from us as well.  The things that held us down are rolled away and we begin our journey of taking the land.  Sometimes we don't feel up to the battle, but remember the Lord is always with us and strengthens us at all times.

If you are marching and all you see is hurt and pain....ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to you one or two things big or small that He has done in your life and meditate on that and you will see your spirit rise at His love and care.
